The Sovereign and Royal House, Principality of Cappadocia

This is what Chivalry, Charity, and Nobility Look Like.

Who We Are

Rooted in a legacy that stretches back to October 28, 312 A.D., the Sovereign Constantinian Order of Cappadocia, one of history’s most enduring Christian institutions, was born in the aftermath of Constantine’s victory at the Milvian Bridge. It symbolized a new era for faith-led leadership, using military valor and spiritual devotion.

To honor his bravest and most loyal warriors, Constantine I, Emperor of both the Eastern and Western Roman Empires, founded the Sovereign Constantinian Order of Cappadocia, appointing fifty of his most distinguished and devoted soldiers as its first members. In recognition of their service, he bestowed upon the Order the Kingdom of Cappadocia, elevating its status and legacy.

As Grand Master of the Order and King of Cappadocia, he united the spiritual and temporal realms. By aligning the Empire with Christianity, a once-persecuted faith, he secured the allegiance of Christian soldiers and communities throughout the Roman and Byzantine world. For over 1,700 years, the Order has remained a symbol of faith, service, and honor.

Our Global Charitable Mission

The Order is proud to stand at the intersection of tradition and action. We channel our legacy of service into modern humanitarian efforts, with a focus on those most vulnerable—particularly women, children, and displaced communities.

Our charitable endeavors include:

  • Education Initiatives – Building opportunities for children and youth through scholarships, schools, and mentorship programs.
  • Humanitarian Relief – Supporting refugees, victims of persecution, and those affected by disaster or conflict.
  • Healthcare & Social Support – Providing aid to women and children facing hardship, and assisting communities in crisis.
  • Cultural & Spiritual Preservation – Protecting Christian heritage sites and fostering unity across faith communities.

Every act of charity, whether large or small, continues the mission of Constantine and Saint Helen: to serve humanity with courage, compassion, and faith.

    Inspired by Greatness

We are guided by two towering figures of faith and courage:

    • Emperor Constantine the Great, the first Christian ruler of Rome, who united the faithful under the banner of religious freedom and justice.
    • Saint Helen, his mother, whose discovery of the True Cross symbolizes devotion, compassion, and service.

Their examples remain at the heart of our mission: to unite, to protect, and to serve with honor.

“For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve.” – Mark 10:45

    A Legacy Rooted in History

The Sovereign and Royal House of the Principality of Cappadocia traces its roots back to the early Christian and Byzantine periods, when Cappadocia (a region in present-day Turkey) was a crossroads of culture, faith, and power. It was founded in 312 A.D. by Emperor Constantine to reward 50 valiant warriors who helped him win the Battle of the Milvian Bridge, which was critical in Constantine’s victory in conquering the Western Roman Empire.

    The Noble Side of Exclusivity

The world of luxury is often defined by its outward symbols of exclusivity—rare jewels crafted from the earth’s most precious elements, estates that lie hidden behind gilded gates, or private experiences so carefully curated that only a select few may ever partake. These emblems of wealth and privilege are designed to set one apart, to draw a clear line between those who have and those who do not.

    Nobility in the Modern Age

Today, the Sovereign and Royal House of the Principality of Cappadocia sustains a truly global presence, blending centuries-old traditions with contemporary purpose. Through solemn investiture ceremonies, charitable endeavors, and mentoring, it continues to welcome men and women of distinction into its ranks, not simply to bestow honors but to invite them into a shared mission of service.

A Knightly Honor That Cannot Be Bought

Knighthood, Damehood, and ennoblement within our Order are among the highest honors that can be bestowed. Titles include Sir, Dame, Lord, Lady, Baron, Viscount, Count, Marquis, and, in rare cases, Duke or Duchess. These are conferred solely on merit, ensuring the integrity of our Order.
