THE CONSTANTINIAN ORDER OF CAPPADOCIA, one of the oldest Royal Houses

The date was October 28, 312 A.D., when the young general Constantine Flavius won the battle at Milvian Bridge in Rome. This, plus his mother's devotion, let to the rise of Christianity to become the Roman empire's main religion, and his rise to emperor.  As Constantine I, he ruled over the combined Roman empire from Constantinople, now known as Istanbul.

In honor of his fifty (50) most valiant warriors, who would surely would have been killed, if they lost the battle and had been captured, he created the Sovereign Constantinian Order of Cappadocia.

He vested this Order with the Roman Province of Cappadocia, an ancient kingdom, and principality in Anatolia with a history of more than 3,000 years, known as the land of the beautiful horses.

With the continued stewardship of this Order and its growing membership, Christianity spread throughout the Roman Nation, and the Principality also known as the "Cradle of Christianity" flourished economically for more than one thousand years as part of the Byzantine Empire ruled by Constantine I to Constantine XI from Constantinople.

Although the Order's land was lost when Constantinople fell  in 1453 A.D. to the Ottoman Turks, not so were its spirit and its rights as a Sovereign Nation, as adjudicated by Order of the International Civil Court, established by the United Nation, Permanent Organ of the European Court in Italy, see:  https://www.principalityofcappadocia.org/about/

Today, the Sovereign Constantinian Order of Cappadocia, as proclaimed "Principality of Cappadocia," is a vibrant Sovereign Nation, with  three Orders of Chivalry and over twenty-five  Grand Priories worldwide,

Its leadership consist of H.R.H. Prince Rafael Andujar y Vilches, its Sovereign, residing in Sevilla, Spain, a Royal Council, Knights, Dames and Nobles, the descendants of the initial members of the Sovereign Constantinian Order of Cappadocia, and our Benefactors, the Members of the Royal House's Monarchical Chapter, all together committed to its Initiatives, including that of serving women and children that are abused,  trafficked, neglected, or in need, of temporary assistance in their respective local communities.
