Sir Bishop Dr. Thomas Mount appointed General Grand Prelate of the Royal Order

SAINT PETER'S ANGLICAN CATHEDRAL, TALLAHASSEE:  In the nave of this immense and magnificent Anglican Cathedral, last week on April 29, 2021, Bishop Dr. Thomas Mount, who with his wife Rozlynn are residents of Florida's State Capital, was  formally invested with the Knight Grand Cross (KGR) and appointed as the spiritual leader of one of,  if not the oldest  Royal Orders of Knighthood  in the world, "The Royal Order of Saint Constantine the Great and Saint Helen."  Dr. Thomas Mount was knighted in 2011 in the Royal Order and subsequently advanced to Knight Commander(KC).

Now, H.E. Sir Dr. Thomas Mount, KGC, General Grand Prelate, with the full support and authority granted by the Royal House, will provide spiritual oversight of all current and future Grand Prelates of the Grand Priories, as the first among equals, of the Sovereign and Royal House of Cappadocia and San Bartolomeo, and The Royal Order of Saint Constantine the Great and Saint Helen, in the U.S. and around the world.

The Sovereign Constantinian Order of Cappadocia has its origins in the Imperial Guard that fought with Emperor Constantine I during the Battle of the Milvian Bridge in 312 CE. Although vastly outnumbered, the Imperial Guard defeated the forces of Emperor Maxentius and thereby paved the way for Constantine I to become the sole ruler of both, the Eastern and Western Roman Empire. The victory at Milvian Bridge in Room inspired Emperor Flavius Constantine to establish the Order.

The Royal Order of Saint Constantine the Great and Saint Helen Foundation, a not-for-profit Order of Knighthood ( the “Royal Order”) is one of its three Orders of Chivalry

The Prince Grand Master of this ancient Royal Order of knighthood, His Royal Highness Prince Rafael Andujar y Vilches of Cappadocia and San Bartolomeo, presently resides in Spain, issued the Royal Decree  elevating Bishop Mount to Knight Grand Cross ("KGR") for his dedication to humanity, and services to the Royal Order since 2011,  to his new post. His Grace Sir Michael Teilmann, Duke of Aswan of Cappadocia, Deputy Grand Master acting as the Personal Representative of H.R.H. Prince Rafael, officiated Bishop Mount's Investiture with the assistance of his gracious wife, Duchess Consort Grand Dame Linda.

The Royal Order has Monarchical Chapter Members, Knights, Dames, Nobles in "Grand Priories and Priories" throughout the United States, Canada, Japan, Italy, Spain, Finland, and individual members in many other countries. They are part of the "Chivalric Renaissance" worldwide who raise funds for those less fortunate by contributing time/talent and treasure to the Royal Order of Saint Constantine the Great and Saint Helen Foundation, a 501 (c) 3 tax-exempt Charity.  The Foundation's most recent Initiatives include to assist and coordinate with each Grand Priory to stablishing a client centered "Royal Home for Women & Children" in need of temporary relief, in a safe environment and at no cost to them or their family.

The Royal House and Sovereign House of Cappadocia and San Bartolomeo’s Vision is to perpetuate and expand the knightly virtues, to encourage intellectual rigorousness, to recognize the exemplary conduct and achievements with membership in its three Royal Orders, and to enhance society with leadership programs which nurtures, develops, and inspires the Innovators of tomorrow.

One of its three (3) Orders of Chivalry, The Royal Order of Saint Constantine the Great and Saint Helen Foundation, a 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization based in the United States, consists of twenty-one (21) Grand Priories, Priories, and Chapters.

Its members consist of Squires, Ladies-in-Waiting, initiated Benefactors, knighted Knights, Dames, and Nobles by birth or merit, throughout the world.

The Principality’s and the Royal Order’s  goals are aligned and focused on governance based on best practices,  by empowering all “Stakeholders”, “Members of our Orders,” and the “Innovators of Tomorrow”, and inspire each to bring honor to our Royal House in the defense of noble causes and the less fortunate.

On behalf of H.R.H. Prince Rafael and the Royal Order, please join me in congratulating our General Grand Prelate to his elevation.  If you also wish to contribute  time/talent and/or treasure to our Initiatives, please contact us via e-mail or apply for a Membership in our Monarchical Chapter and your active participation will be very much appreciated.
