“In Hoc Signo Vinces” — “In This Sign, Conquer”

About the Book & Royal Dedication

The Royal House: A Journey Through Time is dedicated to Emperor Constantine I and the brave soldiers who followed him—men who believed in the vision of the radiant Cross in the sky, accompanied by the divine words: “In Hoc Signo Vinces” — “In this Sign – Conquer.”

Their unwavering faith in this sacred sign ignited a morale so powerful that it culminated in the historic victory at the Battle of the Milvian Bridge near Rome on October 28, 312 A.D.

To honor his bravest and most loyal warriors, Constantine I—Emperor of both the Eastern and Western Roman Empires—founded the Sovereign Constantinian Order of Cappadocia, appointing fifty of his most distinguished and devoted soldiers as its first members. In recognition of their service, he bestowed upon the Order the Kingdom of Cappadocia, elevating its status and legacy.

As Grand Master of the Order and King of Cappadocia, he united the spiritual and temporal realms. By aligning the Empire with Christianity—a once-persecuted faith—he secured the allegiance of Christian soldiers and communities throughout the Roman and Byzantine world.
