Text Message Terms

Effective 29 September 2026

The Royal Order text-message programme for members of the Royal Order of Constantine the Great and Saint Helen.

What we send

Announcements from the Order, reminders for events you have booked, changes to those events, and alerts about your account such as booking confirmations and invoices. We never sell or share your mobile number, and we never send messages on behalf of anyone else.

How you join

Only members can join, from their profile in the member portal. You enter your mobile number, confirm it with a one-time code we text you, and tick a box agreeing to these words:

Text me Royal Order announcements, event reminders and account alerts at this number. Up to 8 msgs/month. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help. Consent is not a condition of membership or purchase.

The box is never ticked for you, and joining is never a condition of membership, of booking an event, or of any purchase.

How often

Up to 8 messages a month. Event reminders are sent the day before and an hour before an event you have booked. We do not send announcements before 9 a.m. or after 8 p.m. in any continental US time zone.

Cost

The Order does not charge for messages. Message and data rates from your mobile carrier may apply.

Stopping

Reply STOP to any message and you will receive no further texts, with one final message confirming it. You can also switch texts off on your profile. To join again, reply START or switch them back on.

Help

Reply HELP to any message, or write to support@rocgsh.org. Include your full name and the mobile number enrolled in the portal so the Chancellery support desk can locate your record promptly.

Supported carriers & delivery

Messages are delivered across major United States and Canadian wireless networks, including AT&T, Verizon Wireless, T-Mobile, UScellular, Bell, Rogers, and Telus, as well as participating regional carriers. Delivery of short-message notifications depends on effective transmission by your wireless operator and network availability; neither the Royal Order nor mobile carriers are liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

The small print

Messages are available to US and Canadian mobile numbers capable of receiving standard SMS texts. If you change or deactivate your mobile number, please update your member profile in the portal before relinquishing the number so account notifications are not routed to a reassigned line. How we handle your information is described in our Privacy Policy; mobile numbers and text-message consent records are never shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. These terms form part of our Terms of Use.
